The HIL temporary structure acts as a driver of transformation: a reversible, resource-efficient structure that maintains operations while testing experimental forms of spatial, social and pedagogical practice.

The HIL Lab for Living focuses on experimental on-site work, re-use and preservation of existing structures, as well as regeneration without displacement.
