Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering

The Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering is at the heart of national and global challenges in the 21st century. Its focus is on sustainable living spaces, innovative methods, and internationally recognized research on building systems and natural resources.

Infrastructure and Sustainability Division

The Infrastructure and Sustainability division (VPIN) comprises several organisational units, including Engineering and Systems, Facility Services, IT Services and Real Estate Management. VPIN develops and operates campus, research and administrative infrastructure.

Funding partners

The first phase of the LLHIL project is financially supported by partners from the construction industry. The close exchange between science, research and teaching on the one hand and industry on the other offers a unique opportunity to learn from each other over a longer period of time, through one specific construction project. This can also serve as a basis for future collaborations.
