An important milestone for the Living Lab HIL is the successful completion of the “Context(s) HIL” Master Thesis programme, supported by 14 design chairs and 9 specialist chairs from the D-ARCH and D-BAUG departments at ETH Zürich. The diverse body of work offers inspiring perspectives as well as valuable conceptual and design approaches for the architectural and interdisciplinary development of the project.
In addition to around 120 master theses, approximately 25 further student projects on the topic were produced within the second-year studio led by Débora Mesa Molina.
These extensive student contributions provide an important basis for the ongoing analysis of HIL and for continued collaboration with the participating chairs. At the same time, they strengthen current and future collaborations across various Living Lab HIL input projects.
