Until 14 April 2026, an exhibition in the foyer outside Lecture Hall E3 at the HIL is showcasing work created during the FS26 seminar week using disused ceiling panels from the HIL. Seventeen students have designed and built lights, table structures, various seating options and a room divider. All these objects can be viewed and tested at the exhibition. The most promising designs will subsequently be further developed as part of in-depth projects.
HIL to HIL understands reuse not merely as the recycling of leftovers, but as a creative, material and energy resource – and as a contribution to a socially and ecologically responsible architectural practice.
